ESF funded programme SEEDs (Social, Engagement, Employability Destinations) started in April 2018. This programme actively promotes engagement of young people from the Derry and Strabane District Council are, ages between 16 and 24 years old, who are not currently in Employment, Education or Training.

We have achieved and exceeded all set targets in the first year and envisage the roots already established this year will develop existing and new contacts. Our strategy is to continually develop new ideas and make informed decisions for the future.

  • Very good recruitment to the project, which is already well above the target for 2018/19
  • Participant progression rate to employment, education or training, which is currently in line with the targets for 2018/19
